UK attestation for UAE use involves several steps. If you’re unfamiliar with the sequence, it can get stressful.
As a company that provides complete attestation services in the UAE, we have seen people having so much hassle when doing the attestation by themselves because of the details they need to pay attention to. Any minor mistake can cause rejections, delays, and a waste of time and money.
Because the process is complicated, you can leave the process to us. We have years of experience assisting foreign documents attestations worldwide to help them apply for residence visas or employment visas.
We also assist with attesting commercial documents so that foreign nationals can start businesses in the country.

Attesting UK documents is a 3-step process, which includes the following:
Step 1: Send the Document to a Notary Public in the UK or the British Council in the UAE
UK certificate owners can choose between having their documents attested in the UK or UAE.
If you choose UAE attestation, you must send the documents to the British Council in Dubai to verify its legitimacy.
If you choose to process in the UK, you must send the documents to a Notary Public in the UK.
Stanford Global Attestation Services has reliable partners abroad for safe transfers and accurate processing. Our partners will submit your documents to a Notary Public in the UK for verifying its authenticity and Apostille stamping.
Step 2: Submit Documents to Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)
After the attestation from a Notary Public or the British Council, we will submit it to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK for legalization. FCO overlooks all certificates and documents for attestation. It informs governments abroad that you can use your documents outside the UK.
The local government must attest documents issued by the British Overseas Territories before submission to FCO.
Step 3: UAE Embassy Attestation
Stamping from the UAE Embassy in London will be the final step of the attestation process in the UK before safely returning your document to the UAE.
Step 4: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
Once in the UAE, our team will submit your UK document to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is the last stage of the attestation process.
